Communal Dining Experience

Come meet some new friends at Yeah Boy in Windsor! Come alone or bring a friend and we’ll seat you in tables of 6 with people who are around the same age and who share common interests. There’s a delicious set menu for you to share and we’ll be hosting a night full of heartwarming conversations to leave you feeling fulfilled and connected. Dinner + 2 drinks included.

How it all started
Having studied Nutrition at uni in QLD, I always wanted to start a cooking school so I could proactively help people. I put that dream on hold while I travelled the world working on super yachts, and when I came back and moved to Melbourne for a job, I was starting from complete scratch to make new friends in a city where I knew no one.
I’m pretty social and I was meeting plenty of people, but I found it hard to find people who were open to making new friends. Most of them had their established friend groups and that was that.
I figured I couldn’t be the only one in this position, so I set out to create an experience where we could make food together like a group of old friends, and chat about deep topics (no work or covid chat!) and I started the social cooking classes.
It absolutely took off and since then it has grown Australia wide. I am on a mission to empower other people to have the confidence to put themselves out there to make new friends, and to create a safe space for people to do just that. I hope I can help you find your people, and inspire you to create more meaningful connections with the people you meet 💛
