At the "Matched Events" (i.e. Dinners, Brunches, Lunches at all locations and Brisbane Picnics), you will fill out a few questions when you book your ticket which will help us match you with a group of friends who share similar interests. You'll sit with your curated group for the first round, and then we will swap halfway through the event so you get to meet another group of people in the second round where you get to choose your own group.
For "Casual Events" (i.e. Games Nights, Op Shop Crawls, House Parties, Wine + Connect, Create + Connect and social fitness events) we will rotate rounds throughout the event so you get to meet lots of different people. This is great if you love the idea of an in-person "vibe check" that gives you more freedom to move around and meet different people. -
Book in for your desired event and simply turn up with an open heart and good vibes. We will make you feel so welcome from the get-go, and you know everyone is in the same boat and is there to make friends.
We will give you a fun name tag which will also serve as a conversation starter, and you’ll get to meet your new friends.
If you are at the Communal Dining or Picnic Events, you’ll sit down at your designated spot that has been selected specifically for you so you’re sitting with likeminded people.
At Games Nights you get to choose your own tables and get stuck into the games together!
We have conversation cards at all events to take the pressure off knowing what to talk about, and you can use them however you like! We swap tables throughout the event so you get to meet new people, and there are connection activities throughout to make it easier.
It’s a lot of fun!

Most people come alone - it’s the best way to get yourself out of your comfort zone and to meet new people. You are welcome to bring a friend if you like, though - however we will ask that you don’t sit next to each other so that you don’t unintentionally form a clique and exclude people.
Everyone is in the same boat and is there for the same reason: to make friends. We will make you feel SO welcome and once the initial nerves wear off it will be just like having dinner with old friends.

We have all kinds of amazing people who attend: introverts, extroverts, travellers who are new to the city, people who have lived in the same place their whole life but want to meet new friends, people who are recently single, couples who want to branch out and have more guy/girl friends…. regardless - the common theme is everyone is there because they are committed to making new friends and are kind, welcoming and lovely people!

The main age range for these events is roughly 25-35 years old, however we are now doing nights dedicated to different age brackets. That being said, age is just a number and you may resonate more with an older/younger age group than your actual age! You are more than welcome to come to whichever event you feel most comfortable in, so long as you are within 3 years of the upper or lower bracket.

Generally, I prefer to keep Conscious Connection Dinners low or no alcohol to encourage everyone to connect on a deeper level without the liquid confidence (or the hang-xiety the next day!). That being said, you are welcome to have a few drinks if you prefer. Just note that this is not a boozy event and we do not encourage getting drunk.

Totally understandable that you might feel nervous about meeting strangers! Rest assured, whilst there might be some initial nerves, we will create the most beautiful and welcoming space for you. We start off with introduction questions that help create connection and common ground, and I promise your nerves will wear off soon after!

I love tailoring menus to be inclusive of people with allergies, so don’t hesitate to let me know if you have any dietary requirements. When you book your ticket it will ask you to list any allergies/preferences you may have, or if you have something more complicated or specific just send an email to bookings@ccdinners.com with as much notice so I can happily accommodate you.

The location is listed on each event and we will provide all the details of how to get there via car, train, tram etc to make your life as easy as possible!

Please use the “Cancel Appointment” button in your booking email to cancel your appointment, then email bookings@ccdinners.com to reschedule or organise a refund.
Our Cancellation Policy is different for Matched Events and Casual Events.
MATCHED EVENTS (Communal Dining Dinners/Brunches/Lunches)
Cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance of your appointment can be refunded entirely.
Cancellations made within 48-72 hours of the event can be rescheduled or a credit code will be issued for you to rebook at a later date.
No-shows and cancellations within 48 hours of the event start time cannot be refunded or credited under any circumstances.
Due to the intimate nature of these events, it is important that you give as much notice as possible if you are cancelling. Your absence impacts the whole experience, and people miss out if you don’t show up. We pay the venue for your food and drinks in advance, so we cannot credit or refund your booking if made last minute.
CASUAL EVENTS (Games Nights, Op Shop Crawls, Fitness + Friends, Wine + Connect)
Cancellations made more than 2 days in advance of your appointment can be refunded or credited entirely.Cancellations made within 24-48 hours of the event can be rescheduled or a credit code will be issued for you to rebook at a later date.
No-shows and cancellations within 24 hours of the event start time cannot be refunded or credited under any circumstances.

A gift certificate is a fantastic way to give someone the gift of connection. It’s not only a thoughtful gift, but you can feel good knowing you’re supporting a small business. The recipient can choose a night that works for them and book at their own leisure. Perfect!

CONSCIOUS CONNECTION MALDIVES TOUR COMPETITION - TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. PROMOTER
The competition is conducted by Conscious Connection ("the Promoter"). By entering the competition, participants agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.2. ELIGIBILITY
2.1. The competition is open to Australian residents and individuals currently residing in Australia.
2.2. Participants must have attended at least one Conscious Connection event.
2.3. Previous success stories from past Conscious Connection competitions may be resubmitted for this competition as long as they are written differently.
2.4. Employees of Conscious Connection, their immediate family members, and associated agencies are ineligible to enter.
2.5. Participants must comply with all relevant Australian laws, including promotional lottery regulations where applicable.3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1. To enter the competition, participants must submit a success story about their experience with Conscious Connection via Instagram DM or email (bookings@ccdinners.com).
3.2. Entries are counted based on the format of submission:Written message/email: 1 entry
Photo with caption: 2 entries
Video featuring friends together: 3 entries
Video testimonial (face-to-camera, personal story): 5 entries
Posting their success story to Instagram stories and tagging @conscious.connection (in addition to submitting a success story via DM or email): 2 extra entries
3.3. There is no limit on the number of entries per person, as long as each submission is in a different format.
3.4. Videos may be of any length and in any standard format.
3.5. All submissions must be the original work of the participant and must not infringe any third-party rights.
3.6. Submissions must include the entrant’s name, contact details, and a brief description of their success story with Conscious Connection.
3.7. By entering, participants agree that their submissions may be used for marketing and promotional purposes by Conscious Connection, including but not limited to social media, website, and other promotional materials. Participants must only submit content they are comfortable being shared publicly.
4. PRIZE DETAILS
4.1. The prize consists of one (1) spot on the Conscious Connection Maldives Tour in November 2025.
4.2. The prize includes all accommodation, transfers, some meals, and guided activities as outlined on the Maldives Trip information page.
4.3. The prize does not include flights, travel insurance, visa fees, personal expenses, or optional activities. These are the responsibility of the winner.
4.4. The prize is for one (1) person only. If multiple friends are featured in a success story, they must submit their own versions individually to gain their own entries. Only one person can win. However, if a friend wishes to attend, the winner may choose to split the cost of the second ticket with them.
4.5. If the winner has already purchased a spot on the Maldives Tour, their payment will be refunded, or they may transfer the ticket to a friend.
4.6. If the winner is unable to attend the November 2025 trip, they may transfer their ticket to the next available Maldives trip or transfer their ticket to a friend.
4.7. The prize is strictly non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash, except in the case of clause 4.5.
4.8. If applicable, the prize may be subject to local travel restrictions, and the winner is responsible for ensuring they meet all travel requirements.5. WINNER SELECTION & ANNOUNCEMENT
5.1. The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received.
5.2. The winner will be announced on July 30, 2025, via Conscious Connection’s official communication channels, including email and social media.
5.3. The winner may choose to remain anonymous.
5.4. The winner must confirm acceptance of the prize within 7 days of being notified. Failure to do so may result in the prize being forfeited and a new winner being drawn.
5.5. If the prize requires a permit under state or territory regulations, Conscious Connection will ensure compliance with relevant gaming laws.6. GENERAL TERMS
6.1. By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Conscious Connection and its affiliates from any liability arising from participation in the competition or acceptance of the prize.
6.2. Conscious Connection reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or submits content deemed inappropriate.
6.3. Conscious Connection reserves the right to amend or cancel the competition if circumstances arise beyond its control, including but not limited to changes in travel restrictions or legal compliance.
6.4. The decision of the Promoter is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome.
6.5. This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Instagram, Facebook, or any other third-party social media platform.7. PRIVACY
7.1. By entering, participants consent to their name, image, and success story being used by Conscious Connection for marketing and promotional purposes.
