Pasta Party (ages 25-45)

  • Otao Kitchen 393 Victoria Street Abbotsford, VIC, 3067 Australia (map)

THE COOKING CLASSES ARE BACK, BABY!! After a long hiatus, we are bringing back the friend-making pasta classes that Conscious Connection went VIRAL for!

Grab your aprons, grab a vino and let’s get this Pasta Party started! We’re hosting a Pasta Making class where you can meet other foodie friends, learn how to make Ravioli and Linguine from scratch - and no party would be complete without some VIBEY AF tunes to boogie to!

You’ll be in groups where you’ll get to work together to make this Italian feast come to life, laughing til your abs hurt and getting some seriously good content for the ‘gram.

Once we’re all done, we’ll sit down to enjoy our meal together, send a photo to our Nonnas to check whether we’ve done them proud, and chat the day away with all the new friends we’ve just made.

This is for YOU if you:

  • Absolutely - in fact we highly encourage coming solo as you’ll make SO many more friends this way. This whole experience is designed for people who don’t know anyone here, and everyone else will be on their own and in the same boat!

  • Being nervous is a completely normal part of this - it means you’re human and that you care about making friends! I guarantee EVERYONE is feeling nervous, so if you go up to someone and introduce yourself, they’ll be just as relieved to have found a new friend. Everyone is really lovely here!

  • Some are new-to-town guests, or those looking for a more wholesome activity that's not just drinking. Many already have friends but they've moved away, are at a different life stage or feel like their interests no longer align, so they’re keen to make more like-minded friends to add to their circle!

  • We ask that you arrive ON TIME so you get the most out of this experience. We had designed this event so you start creating connections from the moment you get there. If you arrive late, it means you miss out on some of the crucial bonding moments with your new friends and can impact the other guests’ experience, so to respect the group, we will not be allowing late arrivals beyond 30 minutes.
