Games Night (ages 35+)

  • Catchment Brewing (Upstairs) 150 Boundary Street West End, QLD, 4101 Australia (map)

Spend the night laughing til your abs hurt over nostalgic board games and classic 80s tunes, while you connect with likeminded people in their 30s and 40s who are keen to make new friends!

Your ALL INCLUSIVE ticket gives you…

🍕 Pizzas + Finger Food (so you can’t blame that extra draw 4 on being hangry 😉)

🍷 Drink when you arrive (let’s take those nerves down a notch)

🎲 Rounds of organised Board Games & Connection Activities (so there’s no awkwardness!)

✨ A vibey room full of people looking for amazing new friends, just like you!

Everyone comes solo and we take care of everything so it’s super easy to make friends 💛

Please Note: This is NOT a matched event, however we’'ll rotate tables so you get a chance to meet plenty of amazing people

  • When you arrive, we give you a fun name tag that doubles as a conversation starter, and you'll get a drink too. Feel free to have a chat with everyone who's there until we sit down for the games. We do 2-3 rounds of games and swap tables so you get to meet lots of different people!

  • If you are within a year or two and resonate more with this age group, then absolutely come along! We have different age bracket events from ages 20-50, so if you're outside of the mentioned age bracket, you can also check out our other events

  • Absolutely - in fact we highly encourage coming solo as you’ll make SO many more friends this way. This whole experience is designed for people who don’t know anyone here, and everyone else will be on their own and in the same boat!

  • Yes we do! Just make sure you mention your dietary requirements in the dietaries section when you book and we will make sure you are looked after properly.

  • Some are new-to-town, or those looking for a more wholesome activity that's not just drinking. Many already have friends but they've moved away, are at a different life stage or feel like their interests no longer align, so they’re keen to make more like-minded friends to add to their circle!

  • We ask that you arrive ON TIME so you get the most out of this experience. We designed this event so you start creating connections from the moment you get there. If you arrive late, it means you miss out on some of the crucial bonding moments with your new friends and can impact the other guests’ experience. Out of respect for the group, we will not be allowing late arrivals beyond 30 minutes.
